Sizemore still needs time to sharpen swing
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla.: Going into today's game agasinst the Rays, Grady Sizemore had yet to hit safely since coming off the disabled list Friday night, going 0-for-8.
Manager Manny Acta thinks that should be expected.
""He's getting there,'' Acta said this morning. ""Grady comes off the DL and has to face David Price and James Shields, which isn't easy. In four or five games, he'll probably be able to click for us.''
Sizemore is filling in at designated hitter for the three games on the Tropicana Field artificial turf, but he is likely to play one game in the outfield on the plastic grass of Rogers Centre in Toronto.
""I anticipate that he'll play one game in the outifeld at Toronto,'' Acta said. ""But don't hold me to which one.''
