Triple-A Columbus (67-47) - Visiting Columbus lost 6-3 to Buffalo...RHP Paolo Espino (0-1, 4.26 ERA) allowed four runs on six hits and three walks to take the loss...RF Jerad Head went 3-for-4 with two doubles, an RBI and run scored.
Double-A Akron (58-55) - The visiting Aeros were crushed 11-3 as New Britain avoided a series sweep...RHP Alex White (6-6, 2.45 ERA) gave up seven runs on eight hits - including two home runs - in the loss...RF John Drennen went 2-for-4 with a home run and RBI...C Miguel Perez went 2-for-4 with a double and RBI.
High Class-A Kinston (18-23 in second half) - Host Kinston lost 8-3 to Lynchburg...RHP Joe Mahalic (4-7, 4.43 ERA) allowed four runs on three hits and eight walks in 3 2/3 innings to take the loss...3B Kyle Bellows and SS Juan Diaz each went 1-for-4 with an RBI.
Low Class-A Lake County (19-23 in second half) - Visiting Lake County lost to South Bend 5-2...Vidal Nuno (5-5, 5.01 ERA) despite striking out eight and allowing just three runs (two earned) on a pair of home runs in six innings...1B Chris Kersten went 1-for-three with an RBI.
Short-season Mahoning Valley (19-31) - Host Mahoning Valley lost 8-7 to Aberdeen as the Iron Birds scored five runs in the top of the ninth off RHP J.D. Goryl....RHP and starter Owen Dew limited Aberdeen to two runs on six hits over five innings...C Diego Seastrunk hit a three-run home run in the second inning.
