Triple-A Columbus (52-32) - Visiting Columbus shut out Toldeo 6-0...LHP David Huff (3-0, 1.45 ERA) blanked the Mud Hens over six innings, allowing just three hits for the win...RHP's Jess Todd, Josh Judy and Justin Germano combined to add three shutout innings of relief...2B Josh Phelps went 2-for-5 with two RBI...DH Jared Goedert homered...1B Wes Hodges went 2-for-4 with a run scored...OF's Michael Brantley and Jose Constanza were tabbed to represent the Clippers at the upcoming Triple-A All-Star Game. But Brantley will miss the game after being promoted to Cleveland Sunday.
Double-A Akron (40-42) - Visiting Akron lost 6-5 in 11 innings at Bowie...LHP Nick Hagadone limited the Baysox to one run on three hits over four innings...1B Beau Mills went 3-for-3 with a home run, three RBI and two walks...LF Tim Fedroff went 4-for-5 with two runs scored.
High Class-A Kinston (6-4 in second half) - Host Kinston topped Frederick 7-2...LHP T.J. McFarland improved to 9-2 with a 1.94 ERA with the win, allowing two runs (one earned) on five hits while striking out four over five innings...RHP Marty Popham earned a long save, tossing four scoreless frames for his first save of the season...3B Kyle Bellows went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs scored and a home run...1B Jeremie Tice added a three-run home run.
Low Class-A Lake County (5-5 in second half) - Visiting Lake County lost 7-7 in 10 innings to Lansing...DH Chris Kersten went 2-for-5 with two RBI...2B Argenis Martinez went 3-for-4 with two runs scored and a double...RF Ryan Folgia went 2-for-4 with two runs scored.
Short-season Mahoning Valley (8-9) - Visiting Mahoning Valley was crushed 6-2 by Connecticut...LHP Kirk Wetmore (0-2, 6.32 ERA) took the loss in allowing five runs (but just two earned) on 10 hits in four innings...LF Brian Heere had the Scrappers lone RBI, going 2-for-3.
