Triple-A Columbus (57-37) - Visiting Columbus shut out Norfolk 1-0 on C Lou Marson's second-inning RBI...Spurned by the parent-club Indians for a spot start Sunday, LHP David Huff (4-0, 3.14 ERA) instead tossed seven shutout innings, allowing just two hits and three walks to earn the win.
Double-A Akron (49-45) - Host Akron completed a four-game series sweep over Erie, spanking the SeaWolves 11-2...The Aeros offense exploded for season-highs in hits (19) and doubles (seven), led by DH Jerad Head's 4-for-5 performance that included four runs scored, two doubles and an RBI...SS Carlos Rivero joined the fun with three RBI, two runs scored and a double...IB Beau Mills went 2-for-5 with two doubles, two RBI and a run scored.
High Class-A Kinston (8-13 in second half) - Kinston enjoyed a scheduled day off.
Low Class-A Lake County (11-11 in second half) - Visiting Lake County came out on the wrong end of a slugfest, losing 18-11 to Cedar Rapids...All four Captains pitchers dished up at least three runs each, with relievers and RHP Nickolas Sarianides and LHP Ryan Morris combining to allow 12 runs between them alone...1B Adam Abraham led the offensive charge, going 3-for-5 with four RBI, three runs scored and two home runs...SS Casey Frawley and DH Chris Kersten also drove in three RBI apiece.
Short-season Mahoning Valley (11-18) - Host Mahoning Valley lost 4-3 to Williamsport...RHP Jordan Cooper allowed just one run while scattering seven hits over five innings...RF Carlos Moncrief went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run to lead the scoring.
