A look at how the Indians Minor League affiliates fared Sunday:
Triple-A Columbus (66-43) - Visiting Columbus was tied 2-2 with Louisville in the top of the 11th inning when this blog was completed...At that time CF Michael Brantley was already 4-for-5 with three doubles and an RBI.
Double-A Akron (56-50) - Host Akron was slammed 11-3 by Reading as Indians rehabbing RHP Anthony Reyes was rocked for nine runs on six hits and four walks in just 1 2/3 innings...DH Lonnie Chisenhall homered for the second consecutive game, going 2-for-4 with a home run, two runs and two RBI.
High Class-A Kinston (16-18 in second half) - Enjoyed a scheduled off day.
Low Class-A Lake County (16-19 in second half) - Visiting Lake County topped South Bend 11-9...RHP Curtis Haley limited the Silver Hawks to two earned runs (six overall) on five hits in three innings...3B Adam Abraham went 2-for-5 with a double and five RBI.
Short-season Mahoning Valley (16-26) - Host Mahoning Valley lost 5-3 to Williamsport...LHP Michael Rayl allowed just two runs on four hits over five innings but earned a no decision...CF Carlos Moncrief went 1-for-3 with a home run and two RBI.
