As expected, the Washington Nationals made Bryce Harper their No. 1 pick in the 2010 MLB Draft. The College of Soutern Nevada catcher was the concensus No. 1 pick much like the Nationals phenom and No. 1 pick of last year - right-handed pitcher Stephen Strasburg.

With the second overall pick, the Pittsburg Pirates selected Texas High School right-handed pitcher Jameson Taillon.

At No. 3, the Baltimore Orioles went with Manny Machado, a shortstop from Miami Brito High School.
