A look at how the Indians Minor League affiliates fared Thursday:
Triple-A Columbus (18-10) - Visiting Columbus doubled up Lehigh Valley 10-5 with the aid of a five-run sixth inning...RHP Hector Rondon (1-3, 8.79 ERA) earned his first win of the season despite giving up all five of the Iron Pigs' runs on nine hits. However, he did not issue a walk and struck out eight...RHP's Frank Hermann and Saul Rivera combined for three innings of scoreless relief...C Carlos Santana went 2-for-3 with a double, run scored and RBI...DH Shelley Duncan also had two with a double and three RBI... SS Anderson Hernandez notched three RBI.
Double-A Aeros (10-17) - The host Aeros saw their modest two-game winning streak snapped in a 6-3 loss to Trenton when the Aeros bullpen gave up three runs in the seventh inning...Despite having one of his best outings of the season in holding the Thunder to two runs over 5 1/3 innings while striking out eight, LHP Scott Barnes was left with a no-decision...1B Matt McBride went 2-for-4 with two doubles.
High Class-A Kinston (10-17) - Visiting Kinston shutout Lynchburg 2-0 on the strength of two solo home runs by RF Donnie Webb...2B Jason Kipnis went 2-for-4...LHP Nick Hagadone limited the Hillcats to just one hit over four innings while striking out six and LHP T.J. McFarland (3-0, 0.73 ERA) earned the win by finishing the game with five scoreless innings of relief.
Low Class-A Lake County (19-8) - Visiting Lake County scored two eighth-inning runs to earn a 2-1 victory over Dayton...1B Ben Carlson went 1-for-3 with an RBI...2B Casey Frawley went 1-for-3 with a double and run scored...RHP Rob Bryson improved to 4-0 with a 4.05 ERA in eight relief appearances.
