A look at how the Indians Minor League affiliates fared Thursday:

Triple-A Columbus (14-8) - Host Columbus outslugged Charlotte 9-7...DH Jordan Brown made his season debut by going 1-for-4 with a run scored after missing the first 21 games while recovering from a knee injury (torn meniscus) suffered in spring training...RHP Carlos Carrasco lasted just four innings, giving up four runs - including a home run - on eight hits and two walks...1B Wes Hodges went 2-for-4 with a home run, RBI and two runs scored...LF Chris Gimenez had just one hit on the night, but it was a big one - via a three-run home run.

Double-A Aeros (8-12) - The Aeros, who have won just two of their last 10 games, and just three of 14, enjoyed a much-needed day off...Akron, sitting in unfamiliar territory in last place in the Western Division, gets back to action when its kicks off a seven-game homestand beginning with three games against Binghamton beginning Friday at Canal Park....2B Cord Phelps leads the Eastern League with a .375 batting average...UTY Jared Goedert is tied for sixth with a .340 average...3B Lonnie Chisenhall is tied for ninth at .333.

High Class-A Kinston (8-12) - Host Kinston lost to Lynchburg 7-6...LF Roman Pena busted out of his batting slump by going 2-for-4 with a double, triple and five RBI...DH Karexon Sanchez went 2-for-3 with a double and RBI.

Low Class-A Lake County (15-4) - Visiting Lake County topped host Dayton 4-, led by DH Chris Kersten's 2-for-4 performance that included a home run., RBI and run scored...RHP Curtis Haley (1-0, 4.68 ERA) held the Hilltoppers in check through seven strong innings, allowing just one run on two hits.
