Tribe responds to Choo DUI arrest
SAN FRANCISCO: Indians General Manager Chris Antonetti issued a statement in the wake of Shin-Soo Choo's arrest on DUI charges Monday morning in Sheffield Lake.
""We are aware of the incident with Shin-Soo Choo and have spoken to him about it. The Indians organization takes these issues very seriously and we are disapponted in the matter. We will continue to monitor the situation and we will not have any further comment at this time,'' Antonetti said.
Choo is the second Tribe player arrested for drunk driving this year. Austin Kearns was flagged for DUI near his home in Lexington, Ky., just before the start of spring training in February. That case is still pending.
