Tribe's fifth-round pick is another right-handed pitcher
The old saying in baseball is that a team can never have enough pitching, and so the Indians selected another right-handed pitcher - William Roberts - with their fifth-round selection Tuesday on the second day of the 2011 MLB amateur draft.
The 6-foot-5, 195-pound Roberts is a junior at the University of Virgina and is the 158th overall player taken.
Of their four picks taken so far in Day Two, three have been right-handed pitchers with Roberts, Arkansas high schooler Dillon Howard (second round), Merced Junior College's Jake Sisco (third round).
