A look at how the Indians Minor League affiliates fared Wednesday:

Triple-A Columbus (58-37) - Visiting Columbus was tied 6-6 in the 12th inning when this report was completed.

Double-A Akron (52-45) - Host Akron won its seventh consecutive victory to complete a home stand sweep of Erie and Altoona...RHP Paolo Espino allowed just two runs on six hits while striking out six Curve batters, but did not earn a decision...RHP Chen-Change Lee earned the win with two scoreless relief innings and RHP Shane Lindsay claimed the save...LF Jerad Head hit a two-run home run.

High Class-A Kinston (10-14 in second half) - Host Kinston pounded out 14 hits to defeat Winston-Salem 5-1...RHP Austin Adams (2-0, 1.25 ERA) did not allow a run on two hits over five innings to earn the win...RHP Marty Popham pitched four solid innings of relief for the save...2B Karexon Sanchez went 3-for-5 with a double, home run, two RBI and two runs scored.

Low Class-A Lake County (11-13 in second half) - Host Lake County lost 6-4 to Burlington...RHP Trey Haley (5-5, 5.13 ERA) allowed five runs (including two home runs) on four hits over 4 2/3 innings to take the loss...DH Kyle Smith drove in a team-high two RBI with a double...3B Adam Abraham went 2-for-4 with two doubles, a run scored and RBI.

Short-season Mahoning Valley (13-19) - Visiting Mahoning Valley topped State College 6-4 in extra innings, scoring two runs in the 11th inning for the win...LHP Mike Rayl limited the Spikes to one earned run on four hits over five innings but did not factor into the decision...SS Kevin Fontanez went 2-for-4 with two runs scored and a double.
