Tribe declines Sizemore's option, exercises Carmona's
The Indians are looking for a new center fielder after declining Grady Sizemore's $9 million option for 2012. However, the Tribe decided to exercise Fausto Carmona's $7 mllion option for next season, keeping him in the rotation.
It isn't clear yet whether the club will attempt to sign Sizemoer for a lessser amount. If so, it will be difficult now that he can declare to be a free agent.

Radinsky new Tribe pitching coach
The Indians filled their three coaching vacancies today by promoting from within, including naming Scott Radinsky pitching coach as a replacement for Tim Belcher, who resigned to spend more time with his family.
In addition, Dave Miller has been named bullpen coach, replacing Radinsky, and Tom Wiedenbauer is the new first base coach, succeeding Sandy Alomar, who will take over as manager Manny Acta's bench coach. Alomar replaces Tim Tolman, who retired because of health problems.

Sizemore undergoes surgery; should be OK for 2012
Dr. Richard Steadman performed arthroscopic surgery on Grady Sizemore's right knee Monday in Vail, Colo.
Recovery time for the relatively minor procedure is expected to be six to eight weeks and should not prevent the 29-year-old center fielder from starting spring training on time and be fully healthy.
