White throwing bullpens, simulated games next
BALTIMORE: Alex White threw a bullpen Wednesday for the first time since going on the disabled list May 21 with a finger injury.
White will throw another on Saturday then continue with bullpen sessions Tuesday and next Friday, when he is scheduled to throw all of his pitches.
Though it has been almost eight weeks since he sustained the injury, White probably won't go on a rehab assignment for at least another 10 days. When he went on the DL, Tribe officials estimated that he would be out for 10-12 weeks, a prediction that still stands.
