The University of Akron has offered a scholarship to Cincinnati Colerain senior running back Chris Davis, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer.
Davis, who has rushed for 215 yards and four touchdowns and caught 12 passes for 213 yards and two touchdowns, is one of the Queen City’s top players in the 2013 class.
Colerain is ranked No. 11 nationally by USA Today and is No. 2 in the Associated Press Division I state poll.
Akron has reportedly offered Liberty Township Lakota East junior offensive lineman Jarrett LaRubbio, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer.
LaRubbio, who is 6 feet 4 and 250 pounds, also has an offer from Pittsburgh.
