Buckeyes plan 'vanilla' offense
Football
From today's story by Jason Lloyd of the ABJ:
“Especially our first few games, we’re probably going to be a pretty simple team,” junior tight end Jake Stoneburner said. “Run the ball and throw simple routes just to get the quarterbacks in a groove. But we have good enough athletes. We can go out and make plays even on simple plays.”
Here's a fun poll . . . Akron is playing a very good team, but so is Kent State, which has the misfortune of playing the Alabama Crimson Tide. The Flashes are 38.5-point underdogs. Akron, meanwhile, is expected to lose by 34.
