I wasn't sure whether Akron would get one of the six main BracketBuster games. believes Akron vs. Nevada is one of the top-three games overall. The writer also thinks both teams will go to the Big Dance.

Here's an interview with Charlie Frye. He talks about the Super Bowl, his 2005 season, his offseason, his hopes for next year, Trent Dilfer and how his arm needed a rest. I love this quote:

Despite his interest towards both teams at the Super Bowl, Frye said he's staying home in Cleveland for the big game, even though it's only a short drive away.

"That's too painful to go up there and watch that," he said. "I'm going to go to the Super Bowl when we're playing in it."

The Zips will host the Akron Open tomorrow and Saturday. This event is huge. It includes 25 men's and 24 women's teams.

Akron's men have crept into the top-25 rankings, tied for No. 25. The women dropped out, despite only winning lately.

I won't be able to attend due to work. If anyone does, feel free to post some comments below.
