Dambrot a finalist for Jewish coaching award
Men's basketball
Keith Dambrot is among five finalists for the Red Auerbach Award, given to the nation's top Jewish coach.
Here are the other finalists:
Brad Greenberg, Radford Seth Greenberg, Virginia Tech Josh Pastner, Memphis Bruce Pearl, Tennessee
I think Dambrot needed this personally. Within a week, his team went from being favored in the MAC Championship to losing on its home floor in a soup-sandwich effort against another mid-major in the CBI. Fans, like they do, piled on.
Good luck, Keith.
