Zips stall in final possession, lose
Men's basketball
Taking a significant gamble, Akron chose to use the entire clock down one point against Arkansas-Little Rock tonight.
Nick Dials pounded the ball awhile, then drove, losing the ball in traffic.
The Zips lost 81-79, losing out on a chance for a nationally televised game against Texas Tech, assuming Bobby Knight's team beats Gardner-Webb later tonight.
I'll have more on the game once I get out of work. I can't really post much because my laptop is on the fritz.
