Fall camp opens soon; are you optimistic?

Believe it or not, football season will be here soon.
Before we know it, it will be Sept. 3 and the Zips will be in the national news (for better or worse) because they are the first team to get a crack at Ohio State, post-Jim Tressel and post-Terrelle Prior. On Sunday, I had a chance to chat Zips football (for the first time in months) with some of the guys at ZipsNation.org.
One thing is certain: Akron fans won't be sky-high on optimism this fall. But that could change with a good performance against the Buckeyes, and the emergence of a solid starting quarterback, receivers, and an impact player or two in the secondary.
