Men's basketball

    From today's newspapers...
The ABJ's Tom Gaffney previewed the game, saying Miami will slow the tempo -- as usual.
The Cincinnati Enquirer talks about Charlie Coles' desire to get more shots for Michael Bramos. Coles also said Akron is the best team in the league right now.
The Dayton Daily News preview says Miami is worried about Akron taking out its wrath on the RedHawks. Coles has some good quotes in the story.
The Zips are a 5.5-point favorite.

Prediction -- Akron is going to blow Miami away. There is no question the Zips will play their hardest. The team might fatigue a bit in the second half, but don't expect this to be close at all. Bramos is in a funk. The Zips are ready for Tim Pollitz, too. The team is playing its best basketball I can remember. Miami stands no chance in such a raucous atmosphere against a fiery team.
Akron 68, Miami 52
