Football
Vincent Hill is proving to be that girlfriend who can't decide between you and another (inferior) guy.
The Maryland receiver now says he's coming to Akron, thereby reversing a reversal of a reversal of a commitment. But hey, he still has two days left to change his mind again.
The Buchtelite's Adam Ferrise talked to J.D. Brookhart about recruiting. Although coaches cannot talk about individual players, Brookhart discussed the effort that goes into the process.

Men's basketball
As expected after an eighth-straight win, Akron moved up in a couple polls.
¥ The Zips are eighth in the Mid-Major Top 25, leapfrogging Hofstra, Northern Iowa and Appalachian State.
¥ Akron also picked up five more votes in the AP Poll, which gives them 10. That is 42th in the nation.
