Hitchens leads Zips to win
Men's basketball
Humpty Hitchens scored a career-high 15 points as Akron beat Niagara, 63-59.
The Eagles were an eight-point favorite. The Zips won mostly because of the defense they played on Niagara's UConn transfer Rob Garrison, who scored just two points. Nate Linhart had four steals.
I would have blogged during this game, but I was taking (supposedly) the hardest exam in law school: Wills, Trusts & Estates. Well, I'm alive. Anyhow, the Zips will play Dayton Saturday. I will break down the Flyers sometime soon.
