Men's basketball
And it has nothing to do with car insurance.
Kent State lost at Toledo, 60-44. The Rockets (12-9, 5-8) simply made more shots than the Flashes (16-7, 10-2).
Akron (16-5, 9-2) moves back into a virtual tie with Kent with two losses each.
These kinds of games should worry Kent fans. The team is capable of playing outstanding basketball. On those nights, they look like a top-15 team.
On other nights, they lose games to Bowling Green, Toledo and St. Mary's. Can you say "first-round MAC exit to a directional Michigan"?
