Indiana is looking to replace its head soccer coach with one of its distinguished alumni, according to Hoosiers athletic director Fred Glass.
The school chose not to renew the contract of coach Mike Freitag, which must mean that Caleb Porter is at the top of Indiana's list. Porter was an assistant for the Hoosiers for six years, starting in 2000. He is under contract with Akron until 2014.
I don't doubt one bit that Porter will take the job. I just hope that it doesn't serve as a distraction the next two weeks.
