MAC Semifinals preview
Men's basketball
This is the way it's supposed to be.
There were four teams that separated themselves from the field. And those four teams will engage in high-stakes basketball tonight to see who plays for a bid to the Big Dance tomorrow.
If I hear one more time, "It's so hard to beat a team three times in a row," I'm going to vomit. Of course it is. But Akron doesn't need to beat Kent State three times tonight. Only once. And the Zips have already done it twice this year -- neither game being very close at the end.
The Flashes held off a late scare from Western Michigan to win last night. Ohio also surged past Toledo.
Akron and Kent. Ohio and Buffalo.
These are the matchups everyone wanted to see. It should be a very exciting night of basketball at The Q. I plan to liveblog from both games.
