McKeesport QB gives Zips verbal commitment
McKeesport QB Eddie Stockett became the first signal caller to commit to the Akron Zips according to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.

Stockett possesses good size at 6-foot-4 and 212 lbs and threew for better than 1,700 in his senior season. He turned down the likes of Rutgers and Eastern Michigan to join the Zips, according to the blog post.
He sounded happy with the decision via Twitter.

He is the second recruit to verbal in as many weeks and the second from Western Pa., a region that coach Terry Bowden said he'd hit with ferocity on the recruiting trail. News of signing had already made it to the first recruit in the class of 2013.
