Ohio dropped a road game to Northern Illinois tonight, 59-64. But Kent State beat Western Michigan.
That leaves three undefeated teams in the MAC -- Akron, Miami and Kent State.
My guess is that a team that goes 13-5 in conference play will be in good shape to have a No. 1 seed at The Q.
How much will Bowling Green miss quarterback Omar Jacobs, who declared for the NFL Draft last month? They will suffer more than all but four teams, says ESPN.com.
So, like I said first, the MAC East will be incredibly weak next year, except for the Zips.
BG will sorely miss Jacobs. Kent will still stink, but a little less. Temple and Buffalo aren't worth mentioning. Miami and Ohio could be decent. The Zips will be really, really good.
