Porter believes Zips are heading to Evanston

Coach Caleb Porter is prepared to travel to Evanston.
The coach asked that remove a sentence that said Akron would play at Northwestern so he could tell his team the bad news personally, according to Paul Warner from media relations.
Earlier I reported that Akron had a couple days to fix up Lee Jackson Field before a final decision of whether the NCAA would strip the Zips of home-field advantage. Warner told the ABJ's Michael Beaven that is possible, but he had not heard such news.
Warner added that Porter might appeal to the NCAA in the next couple days. However, this is a holiday weekend, so who knows how effective that will be.
While all of this confusion is hashed out, check out a video of today's game-winning goal.
