Rasor on the Zips - Signing off
Dear readers,
As of tomorrow, I will no longer be blogging for the Akron Beacon Journal/Ohio.com.
It was a decision made by the newspaper, but I can't disagree. George Thomas has done a great job on the beat, and he's fully capable of handling the blogging duties as well.
We had some astounding Web traffic on this blog. It was all because of your faithful readership. In that regard, I'm proud to have helped my alma mater increase excitement for university sports.
I have gained a lot of friends from the eight years I've been covering UA athletics, and I am grateful for your support and thoughtful comments.
There is a possibility that I will take the blog to another medium. I have not decided yet. If so, I will let everyone know via ZipsNation.org. (By the way, there's your final ZN.O plug.)
Please stay in touch.
Very truly yours,
Mike
