RB Allen granted sixth year; LB Williams leaves
Football
Tom Gaffney wrote about the start of spring football, which is tomorrow.
Personnel wise, he reports that the NCAA granted Alex Allen his sixth year of eligibility. This is quite rare. On the other hand, linebacker Aaron Williams has left the team. One notable position change, senior Mike Ward will move from guard to center.
I will try to get out to a couple of Akron's 15 practices before the spring game on April 17.
