By Ohio.com Published: October 10, 2013

Cincinnati La Salle standout track and field athlete Tim Bell took an official visit to Akron this past weekend, according to Cincinnati.com.

Bell – the Greater Catholic League South Field Athlete of the Year last spring – is one of the top returning long jumpers in the state for next spring. He also plans to take an official visit to Kent State soon. He was to visit Cincinnati this week too.

"I've talked to Kent and Akron about him becoming a decathlete on the collegiate level," La Salle coach Frank Russo told Cincinnati.com.

Bell also competes in the 100 meter dash along with the 400-meter relay.
