UA basketball: Zips lose Quincy Diggs for season due to suspension
The University of Akron men’s basketball team will be without forward Quincy Diggs this season.
Diggs has been suspended for the upcoming academic year for a violation of the University’s Code of Student Conduct effective immediately and will conclude at the end of the 2013 spring semester.
“I’m not concerned about the effect on the team, I’m concerned that [he] graduates,” coach Keith Dambrot said.
Diggs was selected the MAC’s Sixth Man of the Year after averaging 8.5 points per game.
