Women lose another
Women's basketball
For those of you who thought the women's basketball team had turned a corner by winning at Toledo, forget it.
The Zips (4-18, 1-10) lost to Central Michigan (14-8, 5-6), 60-44, today at Rhodes Arena. Akron was outrebounded, 47-19. Yes, that's forty-seven to nineteen.
I'm not mentioning any other stats. At this point, it doesn't matter who scores what. You can read the box score for yourself if you care.
Tonight's real game tips off in Ypsilanti, Mich. in 90 minutes.
