Since tailgating festivities begin at 9 a.m. for me, I'll do my typical pregame post tonight.
Anyhow, that headline is the message from CFN, who says the Zips will win 28-13. Losing to the Owls constitutes the most mortal sin of pigskin, and Akron should be able to pile on.
The site expects the Zips' aerial game to resurge, despite Bowling Green's decent pass defense statistics.
As for me, I think it's going to be a quick game, with both teams effectively running and taking time off the clock. Akron's defense might have trouble stopping running back Chris Bullock and quarterback Anthony Turner on the ground. I imagine you're going to see the 3-3-5 look more like a 3-5-3 or 4-3 against the Falcons' inept passing attack.
Akron 27, Bowling Green 17.
