Zeke Marshall and the NBA
Men's basketball
Two weeks ago, Keith Dambrot implied that he will be happy if Zeke Marshall returns for his senior season.
I think that's laughable, not because Marshall cannot be a pro, or even that he'd go undrafted. It would just be a foolish move for a kid who's made none of them so far.
However, NBADraft.net projects Marshall as a high second-round pick in the 2013 draft. I think that's fair, considering Marshall's two weaknesses: 1) Finding and establishing post position. 2) Rebounding consistency.
But if you remember, Marshall had plenty of other weaknesses when he came to Akron. Namely, his shooting was horrific and he'd foul out before working up a sweat. Marshall is a smart, hard-working player, so I think he'll cure those other two weaknesses.
If he does, I don't see why he would be drafted lower than the end of the first round.
What do you think?
