Zips are 35-point underdogs at Cincinnati

By mrasor Published: September 12, 2011

Akron is expected to lose by five touchdowns (and the subsequent XPs) on Saturday at Cincinnati.

The Bearcats played Austin Peay two weeks ago, and won big. But AP still moved the ball, with 277 yards of offense (also five turnovers).

This is a chance for the Zips offense to get on the scoreboard with a touchdown or two. It needs to happen.

Today is a big day for Akron, as voters will have a chance to re-elect or oust Don Plusquellic.

I am also on the ballot for re-election to Stow City Council.

Don't worry, no political statement is coming . . . Just please get out to vote if you live in either city.
