Zips aren't competitive in another home game

By now, you have adjusted your expectations. Losing by 17 at home to a division rival should not be that surprising.

Ohio University beat the Zips, 37-20, on Saturday, gaining more than twice the yardage of Akron. The final score is not as representative of the dominance the Bobcats showed over the Zips. Ohio committed three turnovers and 100 yards of penalties that made it look less like a blowout.

Five games remain in the season. Next week could be an opportunity to win the first victory over an FBS team. Central Michigan can put up points, but the team is inconsistent.
