Former Akron Zips center Zeke Marshall didn’t participate in the NBA Draft Combine. That, however, doesn’t mean there is no interest in the seven-footer who wrapped his career this past season.
Marshall worked out with the Dallas Mavericks today and has a series of workouts slated in the coming days, according to a source close to the hoopster.
He will be in Detroit to workout with the Pistons June 2-3. He flies to Houston June 5th to work out for the Rockets and hits Phoenix to spend some time with the Suns on June 6.
He also will work out for the Lakers on June 17th, the Chicago Bulls on June 18th and the Indiana Pacers June 22nd.
It looks as if Marshall will have to barnstorm to improve his draft chances and seems willing to do so. His agent Dino Pergola said that several other teams want to bring his client in but declined to name them.
