Zips beat No. 8 Indiana
Men's soccer
Akron's Michael Nanchoff scored a goal in the 77th minute to lift the No. 1 Zips above the No. 8 Indiana Hoosiers by a 1-0 score.
The sell-out game had a great atmosphere. Sitting behind the net with the AK-Rowdies was a unique experience, and I intent to do it again and again. I don't think I ever truly appreciated the speed and dexterity at which the nation's best soccer players operate. Forget the one-to-nil score; it was serious entertainment.
I know Michael Beaven will post something about this later tonight or tomorrow morning, but I didn't want you to think it's not a huge deal.
