Zips expect to add 6-6 New Orleans swingman

The Zips feel that another signing may come soon.
The target is 6-foot-6 swingman Quincy Diggs, who is transferring from the University of New Orleans after the school announced it plans to drop Division I basketball.
He played 13.3 minutes per game last season as a freshman, scoring 3.3 points and grabbing 1.6 rebounds per game.

o Pre-New Orleans: Played one season at Southwest Academy Prep School in Denver, Colo...Averaged 17 points and six rebounds per game...Was a teammate of current Alabama State guard Kaylim Noel and Alabama A&M guard Dorrell Petties-Dahmer.
o High School: Averaged 13.2 points and 4.4 rebounds per game as a senior at Plano East High School in Plano, Texas...Team went 26-4 during senior year and was a second-team All-District (9-5A) selection.
o Personal: Son of Ivan and Catherine Diggs...Has one older brother and sister and one younger sister...Older brother, Ivan, was an All-American high jumper at the University of Houston...Parents both played basketball at Friends University...Undecided on major.
