Zips extend two more offers
Football
-
Zac Dysert,
quarterback, Ada, Ohio
Offers: Akron, Cincinnati, Ball State, Western Michigan, Central Michigan and Troy
Height: 6-foot-3
Weight: 180
Speed: 4.8
Notes: Rivals.com insists Dysert's stock is rising. The QB recently visited Ball State, where coaches told him he would be next in line behind current starter and sophomore
Nate Davis. What does that say about the other quarterbacks on the Cardinals' roster?
Likelihood: His top three are Cincinnati, Pittsburgh and Purdue. After that, Ball State is probably the favorite.
Briggs Orsbon, wide receiver, Convoy, Ohio Offers: Akron and Bowling Green Height: 6-0 Weight: 185 Speed: 4.4 Notes: Orsbon carries a 3.9 GPA. In a Rivals story, the prospect talked about what J.D. Brookhart told him during a recent visit. The coach said the team is shying away from "problem players." The staff also told Orsbon he would have a new stadium by his sophomore year (2009). Likelihood: Rivals expects Orsbon's stock to "shoot through the roof." For now, however, it sounds like he's favoring the Zips.
