From a University of Akron athletics news release:

CLEVELAND – A total of seven Akron Zips, led by First-Team selection Jatavis Brown, were named to the 2013 All-Mid-American Conference honors, the league office announced on Wednesday.
Joining Brown on the All-MAC teams were Malachi Freeman (Second-Team), Jarrod Pughsley (Third-Team), Jawon Chisholm (Third-Team), Justin March (Third-Team), Nico Caponi (Third-Team) and Zach Paul (Third-Team).
Brown, the Zips' first First-Team All-MAC selection since Brian Wagner in 2011, highlighted the list of seven student-athletes named to one of the three All-MAC teams. The seven selections are tied for the second-most for Akron since joining the MAC in 1992, trailing only the eight selections in 2007. The Zips also had seven selections in 2008.
