A: It was just suspect? I thought it should have been convicted of murdering the rest of the defense? OK, that might be a bit harsh. The secondary has definitely shown weakness – to be kind. They’ve also dropped their share of interceptions, according to defensive coordinator Chuck Amato.
“We aren't making the plays that we're capable of making,” he told me after Thursday’s practice. “We have actually dropped five interceptions in two games and one of them would have been a good catch.”
As for improving? The defensive line is doing its job mostly, but Amato has said they’ve missed out on five or more sacks in their play thus far. That would go a long way toward helping. But ultimately, Amato likes to play a swarming

A: Rob, if I have time to hunt down who they are, I’m definitely allowed to name who’s there. What I will not do is ask the coaching staff about anyone who may be there.
