Zips offer Cincinnati Anderson offensive lineman Andrew Paulik
The University of Akron football program offered a scholarship to Cincinnati Anderson junior offensive lineman Andrew Paulik on Tuesday, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer.
Paulik, who is 6 feet 6 and 275 pounds, also has Mid-American Conference offers from the likes of Ohio University, Ball State and Toledo.
Softball
The University of Akron softball program has offered Cincinanti Oak Hills softball standout Lauren Slatten, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer.
Slatten has offers from Akron and Murray State and has visited both schools along with Louisville and Eastern Illinois.
Slatten, a junior, was 19-12 as a pitcher with 390 strikeouts and a 1.33 ERA for Oak Hills, a Division I program on the West Side of Cincinnati. She also hit .404 with seven doubles and three triples.
