Zips outscore Rams, despite peculiar start

Akron easily beat Virginia Commonwealth in an exhibition match last night, 3-1.
It was the men's debut for the renovated Lee Jackson Field. The most interesting part of the match occurred 1:28 into the game. Per GoZips.com:
[D]efender Zarek Valentin played the ball back to goalkeeper David Meves from about 40 yards out. VCU got a gift goal when Meves lost his footing and fell on the grass.
