Area sophomores-to-be make watch list

Two area football players in the 2015 class have drawn the attention of as some of the top sophomores-to-be in the Midwest.

Canton McKinley running back Eric Glover (5-10, 165) and Alliance offensive tackle Steve Clark (6-5, 285) are names to watch, according to

National recruiting analyst Allen Trieu gave a scouting report on both players. He said Clark already has good size and has held his own against several top defensive linemen. “If he continues to develop, he should be on his way to becoming a top flight recruit,” Trieu wrote.

Trieu said Glover played well later last season and said his potential has drawn attention around the McKinley program.
