Balanced Irish football team

By Michael Beaven Published: September 7, 2012
The St. Vincent-St. Mary offense scored 94 points in victories over Cincinnati Purcell Marian and Walsh Jesuit to open the 2012 season.
Seniors Clayton Uecker, Jordan Hargrove and Fransohn Bickley along with junior Parris Campbell Jr. have accounted for multiple touchdowns.
Irish coach Dan Boarman and his staff are pleased with the offense, but they are equally thrilled with a defense that has allowed just 10 points.
Senior Eric Prologo is a leader on a defense that also features juniors Dante Booker, Travonte Junius, Nathan Bischof, Newman Williams and Aaron Bushner.
“We are playing aggressive,” Boarman said. “We are quick up front. We are not that big up front. Every (jersey) number on our defensive line is under 40. They are all skilled guys with speed.”
