David Lough of Green called up to major leagues by Royals

David Lough of Green High was called up by the Kansas City Royals today. The Royals part at  the Oakland A’s tonight.

He was called up on this afternoon by the Royals after center fielder Jarrod Dyson was placed on the 15-day disabled list with an ankle sprain.
Lough was hitting .340 (52-for-153) for Omaha, the Royals’ Triple-A team. He had three home runs, three triples, six doubles, five stolen bases, and 17 runs batted in 36 games for Omaha.
Lough hit .455 (20-for-44) during spring training with the Royals. Seven of his hits went for extra bases (six doubles, one triple) and he drove in five runs.
Lough hit .237 in 20 games with the Royals last September.
