Glenville defensive duo reportedly pick Zips

A pair of Cleveland Glenville football players have reportedly made verbal commitments to play at the University of Akron, according to Cleveland.com.

Senior defensive backs Johnny Robinson Jr. and DeVonte Morgan committed to the Zips, according to the report. Robinson (5-foot-10, 190 pounds) had 55 tackles, three interceptions and a touchdown this season, according to the report.

Morgan (6-1, 185) had 53 tackles, two forced fumbles and a touchdown, according to the report.

Glenville was a Division I regional semifinalist this past season.
