Hillsdale senior Ryan Bee has signed a national letter of intent to play football at Marshall University.

Bee, who is 6-foot-7 and 250-pounds, was a defensive end-wide receiver and tight end for the Falcons. He is set to play defensive end for the Thundering Herd.

“I went down there on an unofficial visit during the summer and I really felt like I had a connection with the coaches,” Bee said. “Then with I went on a official visit last week and I met some of the players and felt a connection with them. I feel like I will fit in very well at Marshall.”

Bee was a three-year letter winner at Hillsdale. He also received interest from Washington, Bowling Green, Toledo and West Virginia.

“This is quite an honor for Ryan, and it is exciting for our football program for Ryan to continue playing at the Division I level,” Hillsdale coach Tom Williams said. “The coaches and players [at Marshall] are a great fit and he could really excel both as a football player and person.”
